These small drawings were usually done in the months between working on larger pieces. Most date from the late 1970’s and are about 6.5″ by 9″. They were where the ideas and techniques were worked out, so they served as a sketch book. The first two experimented with airbrush color blends that have since faded a bit. Nevertheless, I consider them all to be finished pieces.
